Way to Start Programming !!
LET’S START !
➤ You would be to get started with Linux/Mac ASAP. Using the command line interface for doing almost everything whether it be creating a folder, editing content in a file, Running Remote servers. Mastering the art of using the CLI will reap great benefits in the your future journey.
➤ Get hold of the IDEs as this is the place where you would spend most of your time in this journey. VSC and WS are great to start with ! If you are Not a total beginner and know any IDE, switch to Non-GUI IDEs. Increase the difficulty level yourself. Be a tough Soldier!
if you are a complete beginner you can start with JavaScript or Python. But if you have enough time and want to get in depth knowledge of the concepts, you can start with C / C++ or Java. Then move on to Solving Basic Algorithmic problems, you can now solve Leet Code (easy) problems. Learn Backend(Django, Node.js) as well and now you are ready with your Stack Fully filled
➤Once you are completed with a stack move over to building your personal projects, the learning curve is very exponential while making your project as you would now be forced to think outside the Leet Code box ! Deal with real problems.
Try making
1.) database-management system for a Bank
2.) Game of your own
3.) A full stack chat application, etc.
➤ Now! if you have finished everything till now, congratulations you are ready to start Open Source Contributions. Start maintaining your GitHub Profile and in parallel start to Go Deeper into frameworks and learn new technology ! inculcate learning into your daily habit.
➤ mastering over certain frameworks, now you are ready for a job, For getting into FAANG you may focus more on DSA with Leet code. If you wish to work for any startup, majority of them follow the MERN stack.
How to Work Remotely ?
Getting Remote job as a fresher is a little difficult and it also has a component of Luck involved. To increase the probability of you getting hired, contribute as much as you can to Open Source. Your Github profile should speak for your work !
Become master in any one Technology that’s demanded in the Global Market, This surely increases your chances to be Hired !!
